Hello all! I am trying to catch up on some of the fun things we've been doing. A few weeks back, Caleb and I traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for Caleb's Blount reunion. Caleb was part of the inaugural class of the Blount Undergraduate Initiative. It's a living and learning program that he was a part of throughout his time at the University of Alabama. If I understand it correctly, it adds a liberal arts component to the university experience. The best part of the whole weekend was the fact that we went without Eliza Faris (no offense, little lady). My parents were kind enough to come to Augusta and keep EF while we went to Alabama. How nice is that?! She had a blast and you can scroll down and see some pics of while they were here (the little mommy pics). So, back to OUR trip... we stayed in a hotel (rare!) and it was so nice! We went to events both Friday and Saturday night as well as a picnic on Saturday. We took a nice long walk around campus Saturday morning and it was fun to hear some of Caleb's stories and be in the place where it all went down a few years ago. :) He took me to the Waysider for the first time and man, was it yummy!! We did a little shopping ate at some cool places, and just enjoyed the time together. My husband is so much fun and we always have a blast together--especially kid-free!
