Third trimester-28, going on 29 weeks!

Hello everyone, just wanted to post an update about my pregnancy. I know that I rarely talk about it--it's just more fun to gush about Eliza Faris than the big belly I'm growing. Ha, amazing to think that I set up this blog originally with nothing more to write about than pregnancy. I digress....

Let's see. I am really excited to be in my final trimester! The sickness that I had early on is a distant memory and I feel great in general. I have some aches and pains, but I think that's normal for when you get this big. The other symptom I have is that I am so hot! We spend a lot of time outside either walking or at the playground, so I just stay pretty hot. Luckily I also spend lots of time at home in the AC! I am starting to not sleep as well, but I know that's just God's way of getting me ready for being up in the middle of the night with the new baby. I remember it from being preggy with EF and after I had her I knew exactly what it was for...training for sleep deprivation (like you can even prepare yourself!!). Other than that, folks, I am doing well! Let's see, I've gained about 15 pounds, which is about the same or a little less than I had gained at this point last time. I hope to stay under 25 pounds (what I gained with EF). I feel slimmer though this time around...maybe just a bigger belly, but no weight gain anywhere else!! Caleb says I look great with this pregnancy and I definitely don't remember him saying that last time. ;) Or if he said it, I didn't believe him. Lastly, I don't have the terrible acne that I had with EF. So, all that's to say that this pregnancy has been a little different...but I still think we're having another girl!!
