Well, our little baby girl seems to really be growing up! She loves to "talk" (babble), laugh, and bounce. We bought, err her Pop Pop bought her a jumper that goes in the door jam. It's super cute, but she hasn't quite figured out how to jump. Yay for new toys. Let's see...Eliza Faris is sleeping much better. She is getting pretty good at putting herself to sleep in her crib. No more rocking, swaddling, etc. We lie her down on her tummy in her crib and put her paci in her mouth and she goes to sleep! Sometimes she rolls over and needs to be rolled back or needs a pat on the bottom for reassurance, but she is making progress. That makes Mommy a happy woman. As soon as she started getting better at sleeping, she went downhill on eating. I am weaning her from breastfeeding, except for a few feedings a day. I think that she is sleeping better (naps and nighttime) due to the fact that she has enough milk. She's still trying to be a "snack eater", something she may have learned with breastfeeding. So, I'm trying to get her on an eating schedule. As my mom says, after we figure all that out, something new will pop up. "There will always be something" she says. Or, "This soon shall pass" is a good one. I'm trying to take everyone's advice and not take this baby stuff too seriously. This stage will be over and onto another soon enough. EF misses all of you!
